ROCHE ABBEY. William, son of Robert le Plumer of Hymleswrth , remits and quit-claims to the abbot and convent of Roche ("de Rupe") all right which he has in the land which was Richard's, the son of Thurstan de Balna , for one mark, which they give him in his great necessity. (c. 1230-40.)
