Part of a roll of evidence and King's writs [produced to Robert Bacon, sheriff of Norfolk, 46 Ed. III (endorsement in 18th Rich.)], by the abbot and convent of St. Edmund on the one part, and the bp. of Ely on the other, touching the extent of their liberties; [probably in connection with the preceding roll].

A rental of all the rent ffermes and anewytes payable ffor the meassuages, lands [etc.] belonginge to the common profits of the town at Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), made 4 Feb., 5 James I, A.D. 1607.

CHILTON. Extract of pleas at Westminster before Robert Danby and other justices, in Easter term, 10 Ed. IV, and Hilary term 49 Hen. VI for co. Suffolk, in a cause between Robert Crane and Isabella his wife against Ralph West and Katherine his wife, concerning a toft and 7 acres of land in Chilton.

CREETING ST. OLAVE. Court rolls held the 27 Feb. and the Tuesday next after the feast of St. Dionisius the martyr, 25 Ed. III. [2 Courts.}

DALHAM. Rent rolls of the manor of Dalham with Dunstall (Dalham), and "de novo redditu de ten. merveillous per annum ad aulam de Dalham", 18 Edw. III.

FLIXTON (Priory of). Long roll, of 13 membranes, containing articles, interrogatories, depositions, &c. taken before delegates in the diocese of Norwich relating to a dispute between the parishioners of Fundenhall (Fundenhall, Norfolk), and Margaret Hovel the prioress and convent of Flixton, concerning the repairs of Fundenhall church, Dec. and Jan. A.D. 1376-77; forming only a portion of the complete record, a reading is prefixed by Tho. Martin, and there is also an endorsement in the land writing of P. La Neve.

Gapton and Belton. The account of John Gyle, collector of the rents there, from the feast of St. Michael, 36 Hen. VI, to Mich., 37 Hen. VI.

GLEMSFORD. An abstract of the fines and amercements at the court leet and court baron there holden upon Saturday in Easter Week, 27 April, 20 Charles I (1644), attested by Henry Cults, seneschal.

HARDLEY. The account of John Hekyngham, 5 Hen. IV, for the manor of Hardley Hall (Hardele). [Partly effaced on the back.]

HOXON. The account of William Gryse, bailiff and farmer of the demesne lands and parsonage of Hoxne (Hoxon), and of Thomas Thurston, provost there, from Michaelmas, 7 Hen. VI, to Mich., 8 Hen. VI. [5 membranes.}

IPSWICH. Pleas before Simon de Rochester, Walter de Opton, Richard de Boyland, Robert Fitz-Fulk, Master Thomas de Sydrington, and Walter de Strechyesleye, justices itinerant at Ipswich, on the morrow of [All] Souls, 14 Ed. I, beginning of the 15th of his reign. [For the greater part effaced.]

IPSWICH (Priory of St. Peter at). Part of a roll indorsed 'Visitatio Sancti Petri, Gippeswic', containing charges against Thomas Verdoun, the cellarer, and Clement de Ipswich, the sacrist, and their answers. [Temp. Edw. III.]

KESSINGLAND. Six membranes, mutilated: The two first courts of John Megre, son of and heir to Richard Megre, and of his feoffees, dated Monday before feast of St. Tho. MILDENHALL. Account of Bartholomew Bernard, provost of the manor of Mildenhall, for 17 Ed. II

Roll of the manor court of Mildenhall, of Charles, earl of Winchelsea, held 10 March, 1706 by Humphrey Wall, gent., seneschal there.

NEWTON. The account of Geoffrey Mundekyn, provost of William de Athirby in the manor of Newton Hall (Newton), from Michaelmas, 7 Ed. III, to the same feast, 8 Ed. III.

The court of Roger Wolferstoun, Robert Hothot, and their fellows, held at Newton Hall (Newton) the Monday after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin, 21 Rich. II. Court held 25 April, 18 Rich. II (1395) Do. 7 Feb., 16 Rich. II (1393). Do. the Friday after St. Mark's day, 13 Rich. II.

PRESTON. The account of John Watres, bailiff, and John Bonde, provost of the manor of Preston, from Mich., 5 Rich. II, to Mich., 6 Rich. II. [Almost entirely effaced.]

SAXHAM. Coloured survey and description of Great Saxham, parcel of the possessions of sir Thomas Kytson, kt., taken and made in the month of September, 33 Elizabeth. [Attributed by Vivienne Aldous (Oct. 2023) to Thomas Wright, on the basis of similarities with Suffolk Archives (Ipswich), B 100/18/1 and Suffolk Archives (Ipswich), HA 167: 3050/131.]

SNAPES and ALDEBURTH. A roll, dated 1263, 2nd year of prior John of Snapes, showing that on the petition of their tenants of Snape (Snapes) and Aldeburgh (Aldeburth) the services due from them have been commuted for an annual payment, with the sums each tenant has to pay yearly placed in a line with their names (in number 54) under the heads of the old rent, and "pro ovibus, pro averagiis, pro ferminghund et gest et de garbis uncorum".

SOMERLEYTON, &c. Roll, [temp. Ed. II], being a rent coll. in the parishes of Somerleyton (Somerletun), Blundeston, Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), Hopton St Margaret (Hopthone), Ashby (Askeby), Fritton (Fretone), and Great Yarmouth (Little Yarmouth). [Heading of roll gone, injured by water and in part illegible.]
