Writ. Hilderskelfe (Yorkshire, North Riding), Ganthorpe (Yorkshire, North Riding). 3 January, 20 Ed. I (1292). . Writ from King Edward I to Simon de Grymmesby, escheator in the counties of York, Northumberland, Cumberland, and Westmorland, commanding him to pay, out of the lands of Ralph, late baron of Graistok, deceased, now in the king's hands, an annual rent of twenty marks, together with two robes and a saddle suitable for a knight (which said rent, robes and saddle were charged upon the manor of Hildreskelf held of John le Bygot, and certain other lands and tenements in Galinethorp held of Ralph de Nevill), to Thomas de Belton, knight, as with the arrears due to him.
