MORTON. Simon de Skestling grants to Emma his daughter two bovates of land in Morton, viz. the two bovates which Cristiana de Giseburne held; for her clothing and necessaries of life with remainder on her death to the convent of St. Mary of Basdal. (c. 1200-10.) .
NORMANBY. Institution of sir Edmund Baynes to the church of Normanby, vacant by the death of Thomas Capleman , on the presentation of William Romsden of Lousby and Richard Vavasoure of Copmanthorp . Dated 27 Sept., 38 Hen. VIII, 1546.

James Strangways appoints James Buyth and John Goldyngtre together and separately his attorneys to take possession of two bovates of land in Ormsby, and lands, &c. in Great and Little Upsall near Ormsby, which he has by the gift of Randulph de Bulmer, knt. Dated at Ormsby, 3 May, 2 Rich. III.
FARMANDBY, ESTHALGARTH, THORNETON, ELLERBURNE, PYKERING, and THURKYLBY. Indenture made 15 December, 20 Henry VII, between sir Edward Hastyngs, kt., lord des Hastings and Hungerford, son and heir of sir William Hastyngs, kt., late lord de Hastyngs , deceased, sir Thomas Frowyk, kt., chief justice, and Thomas Jakes , of the one part, and Geoffrey Symeon, dean of St. George's, Windsor , and the canons of the same, of the other part, reciting the foundation of a chantry by the said William lord Hastyngs for the souls of himself and Katherine his wife and others in the chapel of St. George's, Windsor, and endowing the same with lands of the annual value of £20. but because the specified land do not amount to £20 per annum in Hil. term 17 Henry VII, but only to £18 6., the said Edward now gives an annual rent charge of 35s. from his manor of Alberston Yorkshire, for the said purposes; and Frowyk and Jakes appoint John Hastyngs, gent., and Ralph Crawcetone their attorneys to give him seisin. PIKERINGLYTH. Final concord made at Westminster in the octaves of St. Hilary, 20 Ed. II, and on the quindene of St. Trin., 1 Edw. III, before the king's justices, between John de Crayk, parson of Spofford , and sir Gilbert de Aton, kt., concerning the manors of Aton, Hoton Buscell, Wyntryngham, and Grumpton in Pykerynglyth, conveying them to the said Gilbert and his heirs.
John de Wythington and Margary his wife demise to Robert de Conyers all the lands &c. in Norton, Hoton, Hoigne (?), Orden, Sall, Heton, Skales, and Armeley, with rents and services of Melmorby, of which the said Margery was seised as dowry, paying £18 yearly during the lives of the said John and Margery. Dated at Hoton the Friday next before Palm Sunday, 1340.
ROSTON. Baldwin de Wicham and Hugh son of Hugh , and Roger son of Roger , and Robert son of William, and Ralph Buscell grant to Eustace de Vescy for 5s. a certain turbary in the territory of Roston which is called 'Ludeparcc', paying annually one penny. (c. 1200-10.) .

SALDEN. Robert de Arturret, son of Ralph de Beremund , attorns Bernard de Ripele and his heirs to his lord Eustace de Vesci to make to him and his heirs the service of a 13th part of one knight's fee for two carucates of land which he gave him in Salden. STOKESLEY. Adam Cok of Bubwhyth and Agnes his wife, daughter of John Stutt of Stokesley in Cliveland , grant to John de Hornby and Cecilia his wife a messuage in the village of Stokesley in Cliveland. Dated at Stokesley the Wednesday next after the feast of St. William, archbishop of York, 1344.
