Indenture dated 24 Jan., 12 Hen. VIII (1521), witnesseth that John Syday of Great Waldingfield (Waldyngfeld the More), laborer, having borrowed of Robert Crane of Chilton, esq., 40s. to be paid at the feast of All Saints next, binds himself and his heirs, in case of default, to make over to the said Robert his house in Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldyngfeld).

William Holmes of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), John Sidey le Clerk of the same village, and John Rodeland, late of the same place, and now of Monks Eleigh (Monks Illeigh), feoffees together with Robert Parker by the grant of John Appulton dated last of Dec. 23 Hen. VI (Ch. Suffolk 495) as now, at the bequest of the executors, of the last will of the said Robert Parker, late of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldingfeld), in consideration of a sum of money paid by Robert Crane, sell to the said Robert and John Waspe 12 pence of annual rent charged on a croft and close in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld). Dated 7 September, 18 Hen. VIII (1526).

William Holmes and others, feoffees, under the will of Robert Parker, confirm a sale of one croft of land, called Upstretecroft, with a toft or garden within the same in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), which the executors of Robert Parker had made to Robert Crane, esq., and John Waspe. Dated 6 Sept., 18 Hen. VIII (1526).

Indenture dated 16 Sept., 24 Hen. VIII, witnesseth that Robert Rudlond of East Mersea and West Mersea (Marsey, Essex), hath bargained and sold to Richard Dogett and Edmond Tod lands, pastures, and woods called Wombysley in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldyngfeld). [Much rubbed.]

John Innolde of Sudbury and Margaret his wife, in consideration of the receipt of £21, bargain and sell to Robert Crane, senior, and Joan his wife a tenement called 'Lagardes' and 'Chapmans' with two closes and croftes, paying annually to the lords of Waldingfield Hall Carbonells (Waldingfeld halle) 5s. 3d. Indenture made 20 January, .. Hen. VIII, between John Innold of Sudbury of the one part and Robert Crane of the other, witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of £20 the said John sells to the said Robert certain land in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld). [Nearly effaced.]
