Robert de Waunford, merchant, grants to the hospital of St. Peter without the gate of Risseby, in the suburb of St. Edmund, six acres of arable land lying in the fields of Westley (Westle) in that field called 'Le Dune', paying yearly 6d. to the lord of Horningsheath Parva (Little Horniggesherthe). (c. 1260.)

Westley. John de Westle, chaplain, gives to William prior of the hospital of St. Peter one halfpenny of annual rent, which he was accustomed to receive of Isabella, relict of Robert de Westle. (c. 1270-80.)

Mary V. demise unto Roger Barbor 27 acres of land in Bury St Edmunds (Bury), Westley (Westeley) and Horringer (Moche Hornyngferth) for 20 years, at an annual rent of 25s. 8d.
