William, son of John de Alneto (Dawney), grants to William, son of Osbert, his cousin, for his homage and service, the whole gift which William de Alneto his uncle had given to Osbert de Gurnemuta and Matilda his wife by his charter, viz. 60 acres of land and one alder-bed in Blundeston, also certain other lands there and in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), together with his mill in Blundeston. Sir John Jernegan, kt., and George Jernegan, esq., his son, remit and quit-claim to John Jettor their manor called Blundeston Hall with Gunvilles (Gunvyles) in the parishes of Blundeston, Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), Oulton, Gunton, and Corton (Gorton). Dated at Blundeston, 12 March, 29 Hen. VIII (1538).

FLIXTON. John, son and heir of William Fuston, grants to Robert Jetour of Lowestoft and others two pieces of land containing ten acres lying in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), also certain land and a messuage in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton). Dated at Flixton St Andrew (Flixton) on the feast of St. Nicholas, bp., 17 Hen. VII.

Indenture dated 4 April, 18 Hen. VIII (1527), by which Agnes, late wife of Robert Stares of Blundeston , and William Wrentham, executors of the will of the said Robert Stares, sell to John Harvy of Oulton, gent. a close of ten acres called Doles Lombys and a piece of copyhold in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), co. Suff. for £10.

Indenture dated 6 April 22(?) Queen Elizabeth, by which John Jernegan of Somerleyton demises to John Warde one marsh in the village of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton) for 800 years at an annual rent of 6s. 8d.

William Sydnor of Blundeston and Henry his son grant to Robert Mighells a tenement situated in the village of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton). Dated 3 Oct., 30 Elizabeth (1588).

Institution by the archbishop of Canterbury, Whitgift (signed to him) in consequence of a vacancy in the see of Norwich, of Clement Bacon, priest, to the church of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), on the presentation of the Crown by lapse. Dated 25 Nov. 1602.

Indenture made 25 March, 8 James I (1610), by which Clement Bacon, parson of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), leases to John Symonds of St. Stephen's, Norwich his rectory &c. of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton) for 21 years at an annual rent of l0s.

Edward Elles of Blundeston and Umfrey Croswell of the same place quit-claim to sir John Wentworth of Somerleyton (Somerleton), knt. all their right and claim to commonage in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton Fermside) adjoining to the great common water in Blundeston. Dated 23 December, 5 Chas. I, 1629.

Indenture made 29 June, 5 Charles I (1629), by which Anthony Wilkenson of Burnham Market (Burnam Westgate, co. Norfolk), clerck, demises to Sir John Wentworth the free chapel or rectory of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton) for 40 years, at an annual rent of one peppercorn if demanded.

Thomas Edrych of Oulton (Olton) grants to John Gernegen, esq., and others, all his lands, rents, &c. in the villages of Oulton (Olton), Flixton St Andrew (Flyxton), Lowestoft (Lowystoft), and Beccles (Becclys). Dated ..., Hen. VI. [Partly effaced.]
