Indenture made on the feast of St. Michael, 21 Henry VII (29 Sept. 1505), by which Adam Reyner, master of the hospital of St. James in Donwich, grants to James Davy of Brampton (Bramston) a messuage &c. in Brampton (Bramston) for a term of 76 years, paying yearly 10s. to the use of the said hospital.

Nicholas, the prior, and convent of Woodbridge grant to Robert Wyvyle, esq., a certain annual rent or pension of £6 sterling for the term of his life, issuing out of their lands &c. in the villages of Brampton (Bramston), Newbourne (Neuburne), and Hemley (Helmole). Dated at Woodbridge, 10 August, 31 Hen. VI (1453).

That number is not now to be found, but the entry was probably mistaken duplication of the above entry.] Nicholas, the prior, and convent of St. Mary of Woodbridge confirm to Robert Wyvyle, esq., an annual pension of £6 for his life, issuing out of the manors of Brampton (Bramston), Haspley with Newbourne (Neuburne), and Hemley (Helmole), co. Suffolk; and if Beatrice, wife of the said Robert, should survive him, she to have a pension of 4 marks. Dated at Woodbridge, 10 August, 31 Hen. VI (1453).
