Lease. Oxford, St Martin (Oxfordshire). 3 William and Mary. Apr. 28, 1691. Indenture made between (1) Sir Sebastian Smythe of Oxford, knight, and Dame Grace his wife, and (2) Thomas Hawkes of Oxford, victualler, being a lease for 7 years of a tenement in the parish of St Martin, Oxford, comprising various rooms, listed in the lease, with a schedule of fitments attached (Thomas Hawkes made his mark).

Oxford, St. Martin's parish. Robert de Witefeld grants to Oseney certain lands in Oxford. 1188-95. [The writing of the deed cannot be original; the seal seems to be genuine, but Robert de Witefeld had another seal, a kinght on horseback, about 2 inches in diameter, of which a drawing is known].

[In B. the heading of this deed is 'de terra Iuliane, antequam nostra esset'. If this is correct this deed is before 1195. Possibly MS. D. D. Ch. Ch. O. 404 grants to Oseney the six shillings here mentioned.]
