Walter de Cherlton grants to the church and canons of St. Frideswide, in frankalmoigne, that land, with appurtenances, which he held of them, and for which he was accustomed to pay annually 10d., in the parish of St. Clement, between the land of the Templars, which he held of the Templars, and the land of Richard and Thomas Franckll '. John de Wodestok and Lucy his wife quit-claim for ever to Thomas, son of Adam de Huntindon , and his heirs, all their right in that place and half an acre of land with appurtenances, and the growing crop, which lies in Bruggesete, between the land of Robert Aunifrey on the one part, and the land of Richard Herin on the other part, in Bruggesete, in the parish of St. Clement, without the east gate of Oxford, (c. 1270-80.)

Oxford, St. Clement’s Prior and Convent of St Frideswide and the Master and Brethren of St. John's Hospital. Agreement that a certain island and the moiety of a fishery belong to St. Frideswide. Wigram notes that the transcript is evidently corrupt in places, but the text that he gives follows faithfully that of the original. ⟨25 July 1346.⟩
