SHABBINGTON, ASTON ROWANT, STOKENCHURCH, and GARSINGTON. Walter, archbishop of Canterbury , confirms to the prior and convent of Wallingford the appropriation of the churches of Shobyndon and Aston Rowant with the chapel of Stokenchurch, together with a pension of 100s. from Garsington church, etc., with certain tithes therein named. Dated at Missenden, the Ides of April, 1320.

GARSINGTON. Indenture by which William, the prior, and convent of Wallingford, in consideration of the payment of certain sums of money and an annual rent by Robert Dalton, parson of Garsingdon , covenant not to prosecute or recover upon a judgment obtained in the King's court against the said Robert Dalton for £105. Dated at Wallingford, 12 Sept., 43 Ed. III.

Charter of Theobald, archbishop of Canterbury , addressed to Robert, bp. of Lincoln , confirming to Matilda and the nuns [of Littlemore] ... 10 acres which ... gave them towards the way of Gersunden, and 8 acres from his son [A fragment.] (c. 1150-60.) .

GARSINGTON. Walter de Gersingdon grants to the nuns of St. Nicholas, Sanford, one acre of land in Hemeland, in the village of Garsington, in frankalmoigne. Witness. Geoffrey, priest of Gersingdon . (c. 1150-60.) .

Roger, son of Hugh de Gersendon , grants to the church and nuns of St. Nicholas of Sanford in frankalmoigne, 13 acres of land in Gersendon, viz. 3 1/2 acres in 'Merlhembroc' and 4 1/2 acres between the village of Gersendon and Bradetheie, between the land of G. de Fonte in the upper culture, and five acres in a culture which is called 'Langburne' between the land of G. de Fonte and the land of Randal Lemol , to hold the same by the service of 6d. per ann. to him and his heirs. GARSINGTON. Roger, son of Hugh Choche of Gersindon , confirms to the canon of Oseney, in frankalmoigne, the donation which John of the infirmary of Oseney made to the same church and canons, of 6 1/2 acres of land in the fields of Gersindon; paying annually two pence. (c. 1240-50.) .

Thomas Wolsey by a fine grants to his College (i) the manors of Wallyngford, Westhenreth and Clopcote and 30 messuages, 1000 acres of land, 60 acres of meadow, 200 acres of pasture, 50 acres of wood, 500 acres of fields and £30 rent in W⟨allyngford⟩ , W⟨esthenreth⟩ , and C⟨lopcote⟩ , and Conyngton, Kerswelle, Bucklond, Southmorton, Ardyngton, Sotwelle, Brightwelle, Huddisbuddes, North Morton, Aston Torald, and Mulford [Aston Tirrold and Moulsford]; and the advowsons of Westhenreth and S. Mary’s Wallingford; (ii) the manors of Wyng and Swanburn [Bucks] 200 acres of land, 300 acres of pasture, 60 acres of meadow, 60 acres of wood, 200 acres of fields and £6 rent in W. and S. and the advowson of W.; (iii) the manor of Chalkford [in Aston Rowant, Oxon.], 2 water-mills, 20 messuages, 500 acres of land, 100 acres of pasture, 50 acres of meadow, 60 acres of wood, 200 acres of fields and £20 rent in C., Aston Rowant, Stoken-church, Northstoke, Besyngton, Chynnor, Oxford, Brightwelle, Watlyngton, Rytherfeld Pyppard [Rotherfield Peppard], Hudders-buddys, Coxham, Helcombe, Bensyngton, Chalford, Stanlake, Chalgrave, Stokebasset, Newenham, Mapylle Derhame, Henley, Wynhale, Crowmershe, Nettlebed and Nuffeld, and the advowsons of Chynnor, Garsyngton and Aston Rowant, and the chapel of Stokenchurch. ⟨18 Nov. 1528.⟩
