Richard, son of Hugh Cordiwan of Chibbehurst , grants and quit-claims to the church and nuns of St. Nicholas, Sanford, all his right in one virgate of land in Forsthulle. viz. that which Matthew de Bikestrope had of the gift of Hugh, father of the said Richard. STANTON and FOREST-HILL. Matthew de Bikestrop grants to the church and nuns of St. Nicholas, Lutlemore, in which church he desires his body to be buried, the whole of his land in the parishes of Stanton and Forsthulle. FOREST HILL. Memorandum (indented) made at Forest Hull the Monday next after the feast of St. Michael, 43 Ed. III, witnessing that William atte Style, provost at Forest Hill , retired from his office, and John Umfray was appointed his successor, with a list of the goods of the manor passed to the said John.
