Convention, dated at St. Sever the Saturday next after the feast of St. Luke, evang., 1287, between Hugh, the abbot, and convent of Kirkestal of the one part, and sir Henry de Lacy, earl of Lincoln and constable of Chester , of the other part; by which the abbey quit-claims to the earl the lands held of him and his ancestors in Acrentone, Cliveacher and Hunnecotes in Lancashire, and in la Roundehaye, Secroft, and Shadewell in Yorkshire in return for annual payments of 50 marks for the lands in Lancashire, and 30 marks for those in Yorkshire.

Grant from Richard Bussell with the consent of his brothers Albert and Geoffrey, to Richard Fiton and his heirs eight carucates of land, viz. Hedkilsiwic, Clatton, Wythul, Welton, Wythinhull, Hotton, Rodelfisworth with appurtenances, doing the service for the fourth part of one knight's fee, and the service for half a fee of that land which William, son of Alan, holds of Richard Fiton.

Judgement. Wigan (Lancashire). 17 Ed. II (1324). . Judgement (from the Plea Rolls of 17 Ed. II) against Robert de Cliderhou, parson of Wigan, who had supplied Thomas, earl of Lancaster, with two men at arms (one being his own son Adam) and four foot soldiers well armed, against the king and of preaching publicly in his church on behalf of the earl. He is found guilty, is bailed in 1000 marks by thirteen persons and at last fined (but the amount of the fine is lost) (copy, in the reign of Ed. III).

Grant from Roger, son of Vivian Gernet, to the brethren of the hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, one bovate of land with a messuage in the village of Caton, also one acre in the same village between the land of the abbot of Cokersand, and the land of Roger Gernet of Caton, at the "scidyard" of Welsted; and two acres of land lying at the upper head of Welested.
