WOODHAM FERRERS. Master John de Thvyford, rector of Wodeham , acknowledges to have received of Richard de Flammamvill, proctor, of the abbot of Bec in England, two parts of all the tithes arising from the lordship of the lords of Ferrers, in the said parish of Wodeham, to farm paying annually to the proctor 60s. Dated 1259, the day of the translation of St. Swithin.

Chirograph reciting a mandate from Pope Gregory X, 4 Non. Apr. an. 4, to the priors of Merton and Bormundes[e], to hear and determine a suit for spoliation of tithes between the abbot and monks of Bec, and Robert, rector of Wodeham , who decree that the tithes arising from the lordships of the lords of Ferrers shall be farmed by the rector of Wodeham at a rent of 60s. annually. (1275.)

Memorandum, in which Robert, archbishop of Canterbury , certifies that the payment of an annual pension of 60s. from the church of Wodeham Ferrers, for two parts of the tithes of the whole of the lordship of Wodeham, to the abbot and convent of Bec Herlewin, shall be made by Richard de Ferrers, rector of the said church, during his life. Dated at Eeynes the Ides of June, 1303.

A receipt given by Ralph, rector of the church of St. Botulph without Aldrichegate, London , and collector of the annual tenths from the clergy for the king in the diocese of London, to the prior of Okeburn for £4 l0s. 2 1/2d., from the church of Ruisshlepe and from Donton, Fordhem, Wodeham Ferrers, etc. Dated London, 6 Feb. 1374.
