Sir Richard Beaucham, kt., lord Seyntmond, grants to Richard Saucheverell all his manors or lordships of Alre, Newton St. Elowe, Publiew, and Pensford, also £40 annual rent from the manors of South Pederton, Daryngton, Chetlyngton, Stratton, and Southarpe, also the advowson of the churches of Alre and Newton St. Elow, and the patronage of a chantry of Alre, which said lands &c. were formerly William, lord of Botreaux , to hold from Michaelmas to Christmas, rendering one pair of gloves.
