VIII (1536), between John Couper of Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle) and Alys his wife of the one part, and John Jettor of Lowestoft (Lowystoft) of the other part, witnesseth that the said John and Alys sell to him all their messuages, lands, and tenements in Carlton Colville (Carleton Colvyle). Sir Thomas Pope, kt., for a certain consideration gives seisin to sir John Jermy, kt., the manors of Foxhall, Coddenham St Johns (Codenham), Creeting All Saints (Creting), and Stonham, formerly possessions of the priory of the St. Trinity at ⟨Ipswich⟩.
