About a lease of the rectory of Watlington. 1501.

An exemplification by King Henry VII of legal proceedings reciting that Robert, abbot of Oseney sued Edward Derby, rector of Little Rissington on Sept. 21, for 40s. bieng two years of an annuity of 20s. due from Little Rissington, which had been paid by David Jonys the last rector and all previous rectors as far as memory of man went. Edward Derby could not deny that the annuity was due, and was condemned in 40s. and 6s. 8d. expenses. Nov. 18, 1502.

Henry VIII gives permission to Oseney, that notwithstanding the Statute of Provisors, they may apply to the Pope for a bull to appropriate the vicarage as well as the rectory of Shenston. Nov. 23, 1514.

Exemplification by Henry VII of legal proceedings reciting that Robert, abbot of Oseney, on 1 Nov. 18 Hen. VII sued George Harryson, rector of Tusmore, for 5 marks 11s. 8d., being arrears of an annuity. Verdict for the abbot. 5 July 18 Hen. VII.

Lease (in English) for 99 years. Similar to the first lease of the Seventh Tenement in Oseney Cartulary, vol. ii, p. 513. 31 July ⟨1538.⟩
