An exemplification of a fine made on the octave of the Holy Trinity, 29 Hen. VIII, by which the manors of Aston, Bampton, and Golleffers, with certain lands and rents, are granted to Roland Hyll by George, earl of Huntingdon, and others. Dated at Westminster, 16 October, 30 Hen. VIII (1538).

Indenture made 31 Jan., 34 Hen. VIII (1543), by which John Olyver , the dean, and the chapter of Ch. Ch. lease to John Oglethorpe of Newyngton, co. Oxford, their manor or lordship of Byndesey, with the wyke and St. Margaret's well, mansion-place and chapel there, for 80 years, at an annual rent of £18.

Ascot near Stadhampton. Conveyance by Michael Dormer, esq., of Hampton Poyle, co. Oxon. , of the manor of Askott, with appurtenances, in the parish of Milton, to Thomas Bodley, esq., of London , and William Gente, esq., of London in trust for the said Michael Dormer and Dorothy his wife, and their heirs, for ever.
