IV, of the manor of Somerleyton (Somerleton) and the church of Bradwell, &c. granted by John [Jernegan] to Thomas Bryan, knt. and others on the occasion of his being about to pass with the king into France, mentions his wife Isabel. Indenture made at Somerleyton (Somerleton), 8 September, 1485, between John Jernegan, esq., of the one part, and Gyelys Brewes, gentleman, of the other, being a grant to the said John Jernegan of a tenement in Ashby (Askeby) called 'Bukmongere's' with 32 acres of land. (See MS. Ch. Suffolk 756.)
