Certificate of Peter Schelton, LL.B., commissary of Alexander, bp. of Norwich , that at a visitation held 24 November, 1408, in the parish church of Frostenden, the abbot and convent of Sybeton produced evidences of the appropriation of the church of Sibton (Sybeton) with the chapel of Peasenhall (Pesenhale) annexed, and also of the appropriation of the churches of Rendham, Cransford (Cranisford), Westleton, and Tunstall, and repeated at a visitation held in Beccles ("Bekkelys") church 18 June, 1413. Peasenhall.. An inhibition from Roger Radclyff, dean of arches staying the presentation of dom. Thomas Braycrofte to the church of Peasenhall (Pesenale) by the bp. of Norwich, on the representation of the abbot and convent of Sybeton, pending an appeal. Dated at London, 2 Kl. June (31 May), 1466.

Certificate from William Woode, commissary of James, bp. of Norwich , that the abbot and convent of Sybeton exhibited their muniments, &c. concerning the appropriation of the half of the church of Sibton (Sybeton) with the chapel of Peasenhall (Pesenale), the parish churches of Rendham, Cransford (Cranesford), and Westleton, and of Tunstall (Tunstale), at a visitation held at Ipswich 11 October, 1474.

Nicholas, the prior, and convent of Woodbridge grant to Robert Wyvyle, esq., a certain annual rent or pension of £6 sterling for the term of his life, issuing out of their lands &c. in the villages of Brampton (Bramston), Newbourne (Neuburne), and Hemley (Helmole). Dated at Woodbridge, 10 August, 31 Hen. VI (1453).

That number is not now to be found, but the entry was probably mistaken duplication of the above entry.] Nicholas, the prior, and convent of St. Mary of Woodbridge confirm to Robert Wyvyle, esq., an annual pension of £6 for his life, issuing out of the manors of Brampton (Bramston), Haspley with Newbourne (Neuburne), and Hemley (Helmole), co. Suffolk; and if Beatrice, wife of the said Robert, should survive him, she to have a pension of 4 marks. Dated at Woodbridge, 10 August, 31 Hen. VI (1453).

Robert Stowe, 'lymbrenner', John Broun, and John Tylle demise to Matilda Stace, Simon Sparwe, Stephen Barbour, and Thomas Cook one piece of land in Chilton called Chilton acre. Dated on the vigil of St. John the Baptist, 30 Hen. VI (23 June 1452).

John Sydey, senior, husbandman, and Richard Sydey of Great Waldingfield demise and confirm to John Sydey, son of the above John, John Apiltone, John Folour, and Robert Ponder a croft in Chilton called of old 'Wyltenes croft.' Dated at Chilton, 9 January, 33 Hen. VI (1455).

John Sydey of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), "plowman" quit-claims to John Apilton of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld), John Folour of Sudbury (Sudbery), baker, and Robert Pondere, all his right in a croft called Wylkenercroft and land at Chilton. Dated at Chilton, 20 July, 1 Ed. IV (1461).

John Syday atte Helmes of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld) and others grant to Robert Syday, servant of Robert Crane, and others, a tenement with a croft in the village of Chilton. Dated at Great Waldingfield, 20 .... 2 Ed. IV.

Richard Symon of Great Waldingfield, John Sydey, servant of Robert Crane, esq., John Randolf, and John .... confirm to Alice Lorkyn of Chilton, widow, Richard Lorkyn her son, and others, a cottage and garden in Chilton. Dated at Chilton, 31 March, 4 Hen. VII (1489).

Robert Thurston, son and heir of Richard Thurston of Great Waldingfield, grants to John Sydey of the same, dyer, and three others, one acre of pasture in Chilton, which his father and others had by deed dated 4 June 9 Hen. VI. Dated at Chilton, 20 Dec., 9 Hen. VII (1493).

Alicia Lorkyn of Chilton, Richard Lorkyn her son, John Syday, and William Downyng, "ploughman" grant to Robert Syday, John Syday, John Thurgore, and Ralph Parker a cottage with a garden in Chilton, for the use of the said Robert Syday. Dated at Chilton, 29 June, 11 Hen. VII (1496).

CORNARD (Great). John Musket, clerk, and others confirm to William Ive of Little Waldingfield and others, one croft and three pieces of land lying in Great Cornard (Cornard). Dated 20 April, 3? Hen. VI (1425).

John Weston of Newton (Newtone) grants to John Lynne of Edwardstone (Edwardston) all lands, rents, and services which he had by feoffment of John Adam of Edwardstone (Edwardston) in the village of Edwardstone (Edwardston). Geoffrey Herry de Fornham All Saints and Peter Gervays of Sudbury grant to John Algood de Colchester and others their whole right and claim in lands, rents, &c. formerly John Adam's and afterwards John Lynne's in the villages of Edwardstone (Edwardston), Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfield ) and Little Waldingfield, Groton (Grotene) and Milden (Meldyng). John Potter of Edwardstone (Edwardeston) grants to John Teryngton, clerk, of Sproughton (Sprouton), and William Englissh the lands and tenements in Edwardstone (Edwardeston) and Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfield ) and Little Waldingfield, which he together with John Ganges and others deceased had by gift by Walter atte Wode, and others.
