This collection consists of additional deeds and other papers concerning the property of the Loveday family, including property in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, London, Rutland, Derbyshire, Surrey, and Northamptonshire. MSS D. D. Loveday c. 1-13 were deposited in 1967, 1971 and 1972 by Mrs. S. Markham and Mrs. C. James, daughters of Dr. Thomas Loveday and by Messrs. Stockton, Sons and Fortescue, solicitors. Ownership of MSS. D.D. Loveday c. 1-13 was transferred to the Bodleian in 2020.
Included in this catalogue is the following material: papers relating to White Waltham, Berkshire, 1655-1778; Alkerton, Williamscot and other places, Oxfordshire, 1542-1800, and Loxley and Oxhill, Warwickshire, 1624-1754.
