William Curteys of Wallingeforde quit-claims to Thomas de Berewyke and Isabella his wife his right in a piece of land reaching in length from the piece which they had of the gift of Joan Curteys his mother in Curteyselane, to the curtilage of the said Joan on the west—7½ feet; and in width from the curtilage of the said Joan on the south to the tenement of Thomas de Horspathe on the north—20 feet, in the parish of Holy Trinity, Wallingford. Letters patent of Walter, bp. of Worcester , relating the many causes of the poverty of Theokesbury, and giving licence to appropriate the church of Thornbury, having due regard to the rights of the then rector, master Roger called the Marshal , and assessing the church at 26 marks a year. Walter, bishop of Worcester , assigns to the vicarage of Thornbury, which is worth 18 marks 10 shillings, the house once held by Zalibroun, as a vicarage house. The value to be made up to 25 marks in money or wax. The vicar is to pay for books, vestments, and other necessary ornaments, synodal fees to the Archdeacon, and 4 marks a year to the bishop, but is not to be responsible for the repair of the chancel. ⟨12 Aug. 1315.⟩ Endorsed with references to cases in chancery, A.D. 1750 and 1813.

April, 1320, against Ralph, rector of Fletmerston at the suit of Thame Abbey concerning tithes coming from the lands of Sir John Neyrunt, kt., and Robert Verney , in Fletmerston, as well as from the lands of Sir William Blount, kt., in the same, all pertaining to the church of Chalgrove.
