John Elof of Slyndefold grants to William Elof all his lands and tenements, and rents of 3s. from Will. Clympesfolde for the land called Parklond and 12d. from Robert Lage, with the land which Joan who was the wife of Rich. Elof holds as dowry, to those which Will. le Ismongere holds for life in Pelteworthe in Slyndefold. Dated at Slyndefold the Sunday after the feast of St. Michael, 24 Ed. III
John Elof of Slyndefold remits and quit-claims to William Elof his brother all right to lands and tenements, &c. in Slinfold and Petteworthe, which he formerly gave his said brother by charter [Ch. 195]. Dated at Slyndefold, 31 May, 26 Ed. III.

SNEYLHAM. Robert, son of Henry Walkelyn of Paulynescraye co. Kent, grants to John de Pydyngton of co. Buckingham and Margery his wife the whole of the manor of Sneylham in co. Sussex, which he had by feoffment of the said Margery ; with remainders to Robert son of Gervase Alard , and to the heirs of the said John . Dated at Gestlyngg, 15 July, 17 Ed. III.
Convention dated Easter, 13 Ed. II, between John de Klympesfold of the one part, and William de Asselye of the other, by which the said John grants to the said William one parcel of land in Wernham from the field called Herstfeld, with agreements about maintenance of enclosures and the making ditches.
HORSHAM. Godfrey de Crokhurst grants to William ate Denne and Joan his wife one messuage and 14 acres of arable land in a field called 'Brodefeld' in the parish of Horsham, also the reversion of 13 acres and 1 rood in Crokhurst with other lands in Crokhurst and Horsham. Dated at Horsham the Thursday next after the feast of the Holy Trinity, 14 Ed. II.
SADDLESCOMBE. Condition of a bond in £200 from sir Thomas de Nerford to master Paunce de Controno , that the said Thomas shall give up with 15 days of Pentecost the beasts, goods and chattels of the manor of Sadelescombe which he held of the prior of the hospital [of St John of Jerusalem], and which the said Paunce had sold to the prior, in accordance with an inventory made between the Prior and Paunce's brother Peregrine . Letters patent of King Edward III, dated at Westminster 6 Feb., 29 of his reign (1355), making known, that, by an inspection of the rolls of Chancery it appears that with the assent of Bartholomew de Burgherssh and Elizabeth his second wife, of Mark Husee and Margery his third wife, and Isabella who was the wife of Henry de Ferrars , the fourth of the daughters and heirs of Theobald de Verdon , deceased, who held of the King Edw. II in capite of the fees and parts of knights' fees and the advowsons of churches which were the said Theobald's have been assigned to Thomas, son and heir of Joan , who was the wife of Thomas de Furnivall , the eldest of the daughters and heirs of the said Theobald, according to the law and custom of England, the underwritten fees and advowsons, viz. in demesne four knights' fees in Potteleye, Cheynestre, Strote, Twyldenhyde, Est H(?)eche, and Walnesthorp, which Richard Comyn and the heirs of William Comyn had, the fourth part of one knight's fee in Aleton which Robert Brown holds, the half of one knight's fee in Mousleye, which the heirs of Richard Faype holds, the half of one knight's fee in Webbeton, Cobbewell, Walshopthorn, and Meere, which Roger and George Crikentot hold, the half of one knight's fee in Rouleston, which pertains to the castle of Ewyas in Herefordshire, one knight's fee in Hopton Caudinant in co. Salop, which John de Hopton holds the half of one knight's fee in Neuhall, co. Derby, which the heirs of Robert de la War... holds, one knight's fee in Northbur, co. Stafford, which Ralph de Botiler holds the half of one knight's fee in Bereford, co. Warwick, which John de Napfold holds, the half of one knight's fee in Lullyngton in the same county, which the heir of Peter de Walwardyngton holds, and the reversion of two knights' fees, the half of a knight's fee and a fourth part in Pyonia and Houton Cotes in co. Hereford, which Richard de la Lynde, jun., Philip Aphowel and Rees Aphowel hold, one knight's fee in Thurlaston, co. Warwick, which Simon fitz Margery and John Darset hold, a fourth part in Morton, the half of one knight's fee in Hopton and Alverton, co. Warwick, which the free tenants there hold to have the same after the death of Elizabeth de Burgh , who holds the same in dowry after the death of the aforesaid Theobald formerly her husband, together with the advowson of the church of Neubold and the third presentation to the church of Boseworth, co. Leicester, the advowson of moiety of the priory of Lantony in Wales, and the reversion of the advowson of Farnham, co. Bucks.

Nicholas Adamson of Yedon, chaplain, grants to the abbot and convent of Kyrkestall one messuage and thirty-three acres of land and four of meadow in Pudsay, formerly John de Byrell 's. Dated at Pudsay, 16 Feb., 1398.
Robert, the prior, and the convent of Giseburn, appoint Walter de Marton their attorney to receive full seisin of John Gretheued, sen., of one messuage and a croft in Marton. Dated at Gyseburn the Wednesday next after Easter, 1343.
Charter dated 29 Ed. I, the Friday on the feast of St. Katherine the virgin, at York, being a convention between Walter, bp. of Coventry and Lichfield, master of the hospital of St Leonard, York , and the bretheren, and Roger, abbot of Melsa, and the convent concerning two mills (water) in Great Wharrum, by which the former reduces the rent of four marks paid according to the agreement between Hugh formerly the master, and Michael formerly abbot to 3 marks.
BARDELBY. John, son of William de Celar' of Athelyngflete , remits and quit-claims to sir Gilbert de Aton, lord of Bardelby , all his right in a messuage lying upon the bank of the Ouse, in the fee of Bardelby, which the said Gilbert has by the gift of the said William and Lecia his wife. Dated at Bardelby the Monday next before the feast of St. Mark the evangelist, 19 Ed. II.
