BEREFORD ST. MARTIN (Wilts). John Stoford , son and heir of Joan Prikemere , grants to William Peracourt the whole of a messuage in the village of Bereford St. Martin's. Dated at Bereford aforesaid the Sunday on the feast of St. Michael, 16 Rich. II.

Sir Thomas Bouklond, kt., grants to John Dekne, clerk, all his lands and tenements in Stanlynch, which John Cok and Stephen Geghe held for their lives, for his life, paying annually for the same 17s. 6d. to the grantor during the life of the latter Dated at Radelynche the Saturday in the feast of St. Barnabas the apostle, 47 Ed. III.

Power of attorney to John Bereford and John Driwode from sir Thomas de Bouclonde, kt., to deliver seisin to John Dekne, clerk, of all his lands and tenements, &c. in Stanlynch, co. Wilts. Dated at Radelynch the Saturday in the feast of St. Barnabas, 47 Ed. III.

John Nywe and William Axebrigge , chaplains, grant to Alianor , who was the wife of John Duyn , all lands, &c. in Stanlinche, Brutford, Langeford, and Cherleton, which they had of the feoffment of the said John Duyn , for the term of her life. Dated at Stanlinche the Wednesday next after the feast of St. Dionisius, 48 Ed. III.

Quit-claim from sir Thomas de Bouclonde, kt., to John Dekne , by which he remits all his right ... and heirs, &c. to lands in Stanlynch, which the said John lately had from him for the term of the life of the said John, and which John Bouclonde , the grantor's brother acquired from John Glys . Dated at Radelynch, 6 September, 50 Ed. III.

Matilda, relict of sir John de Meryet, kt. , remits and quit-claims to Thomas de Meryet her son, the whole of the manor of North Stanlynch and Langeford in the co. Wilts, with all lands, &c., to hold the same for ever. Dated at Lopene the Monday next after the feast of St. Scolastica, virgin, 21 Rich. II.

Appointment of attorney. Fonthill Gifford (Wiltshire), Coleman's (Wiltshire). 17 Ric. II. Dec. 20, 1393. Appointment by Sir Bernard Brocas, senior, of John Lundon as his attorney to receive an annual payment of £10 assigned to him and his heirs on the manor of Fountell Giffard, and on Colmansland within the lordship and hundred of Knoel Episcopi [East Knoyle, now part of Downton hundred], by four persons, John Joce, Edmund Culak and Thomas Blake, chaplain, and John Payn, chaplain (lately deceased), who had received the land from John Inge or Ynge.
