Indenture made between the prior of the Holy Trinity, Gipp', and the convent, of the one part, and William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary) of the other, witnesseth that the said prior and convent have granted to farm to the said William all their lands, tenements, &c. in the villages of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earl), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan), Coddenham (Codenham), and Crowfield (Creffeld), for 12 years, paying annually six marks of silver. Dated the Sunday next after the feast of St. Michael, 21 Rich. II (30 Sept. 1397).

Richard de Burghstede, parson of Framlingham at the Castle (Framelingham at the Castter), grants to Edmund de St. Clauo, son and heir of John de St. Clauo, and Agnes his wife, all his lands, rents, &c. in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Crowfield (Croffeld), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints, Creeting St Olave (Creeting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earls), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegaine), and Little Stonham (Stonham Gernegan). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday after the feast of All Saints, 11 Ed. III (2 Nov. 1337). (Clauo: see MS. Ch. Suffolk 522b, his name occurs frequntly. On 522b and in 635 the name is clearly written "Clavo". In many other deeds it is very uncertain.)

John, son and heir of Robert Coleman of Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints) , is bound to William, vicar of Rushmere St Andrew (Resshemere), and sir Hamo Dyke, chaplain, in one annual rent of 40s. from lands and tenements in Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), and Creeting All Saints. Dated at Ipswich (Gippewyc) the Sunday next after the Epiphany, 16 Ed. III (12 Jan. 1343).

Ralph Spake and 3 others grant to John Parmenter of Stowmarket (Stowemarcat) and 2 others all the lands and tenements acquired of Alice and Joan Spake in the villages of Coddenham, Creeting All Saints, and Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), with the reversion of the land held as dowry by Mariota, wife of the late John Spake. Dated at Coddenham, 8 April, 26 Ed. III (1352).

Thomas Dunch of Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan) grants to William .... of Creeting St Mary (Cretyngge St. Mary) two pieces of land in Coddenham (Codenham) and Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints). Dated at Cretyngg aforesaid the Tuesday on the feast of the Purification of the B. V. M., 7 Rich. II (2 Feb. 1384).

William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Cretyngge St. Mary) appoints Hugh Bugge to deliver to Thomas ate Grene of Creeting St Peter (Creting St. Peter's), and others, seisin of all his lands &c. in Stoweupland or Stowmarket (Stowe), Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Coddenham (Codenham), and Little Stonham (Stonham Jernynggan). Dated at Creeting St Mary (Cretyngge St. Mary) the Tuesday next before the feast of St. Peter in Cathedra, 7 Rich. II (16 Feb. 1384).

John Jaune, parson of the church of Glemsford, grants to sir Philip Deneys, kt., William Berard, Edmund Drury, perpetual vicar of the church of Eye, and others, all his lands in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), Creeting St Olave (Creeting St. Olive), and Creeting All Saints. Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) Tuesday after the feast of St. Edmund, king and martyr, 14 Rich. II. [Partly effaced.]

Simon Skut of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to John Wyght, rector of Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints), Hugh Bugge, and others, all his lands and tenements in Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Cretyngg St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints), and Creeting St Olave (Cretyngge St. Olave). Dated at Creeting St Olave (Cretingge St. Olave) the Saturday after the feast of St. Barnabas, 7 Ed. II.

Robert the Shepherd ('Bercarius'), of Creeting St Mary (Cretingges St. Mary), and Joan his wife, grant to William Wystlepays of Coddenham (Codenham) and Atheles' his wife and John their son one piece of land lying in the parish of Creeting All Saints (Cretingges All Saints). Dated at Creeting All Saints (Cretingges All Saints) the Thursday next after the feast of St. Mary Magdalen, 8 Ed. II.

Robert le Talyur of Creeting St Olave (Cretingge St. Olave) grants to his brother Ralph le Talyur of Creeting St Mary (Cretingge St. Mary) one piece of land in Creeting All Saints (Cretingge All Saints). William de Henley and Felicia his wife of Stonham demise to Richard Miles of Creeting St Olave (Cretyngge St. Olave) a tenement in the parish of Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints), for five years, at an annual rent of 8s.
