Daventry, The Mills. Peter, prior, &c.; of D⟨aventry⟩ grant to John son of Roger Miller of D⟨aventry⟩ for his service, 2 acres of arable land in D⟨aventry⟩ and Drayton viz. in the south field of D⟨aventry⟩ 3 half acres lying at le Loch by the land of Simon de aula . In the south field of Drayton a half acre over Putforlong between the monks’ land and that of William of Drayton . Rent 2d. For this grant John gave the prior; &c., an acre of arable land ‘cum divisa eidem adiacente’ in the south field of Drayton over Ryenhul by the land of John Neel , on which acre Ryenhulmylne was situated, which acre and mill Roger, father of the said John, used to hold from the monks.
