Henry, the abbot, and convent of St. Agatha grant and quit-claim to the abbot and monks of Jorevall the cow-common of Mudebech in Garcedale which they held of sir Adam fitz Hugh of Magneby , by girograph dated feast of St. Peter ad vincula 1240, for 12 years saving the common pasture, which they previously had for the payment of 16 marks by the abbot and convent of Jorevall. Geoffrey, bishop of Coventry , confirms to the canons of Bretton two parts of the tithes of corn from the demesne of the Lord Ailric of the village of Midelton, with the small tithes of the same lordship, as granted by the prior and convent of Pontefract (c. 1206.) .
