COVENTRY, &c. Henry d'Aubeny (de Albiniaco) , son of Henry D'Aubeny (de Albiniaco), of Wycheford , and Christiana his wife give and confirm to Geoffrey de Langele and Matilda his wife and their heirs, all their capital messuage of mill Coventry together with rents, &c., the mills of Hyssel, and lands, rents and services in Coventre, with husbote and heybote in the woods of Coventre, Stok, Keresle, and Alspathe, with the reversion of other lands in the same villages; for which the said Geoffrey gives 85 shillings worth of land in several places, and released the father of the grantor from prison at New Sarum by paying 140 marks for him to Robert de Totenhale . (c. 1244-50.) [Geoffrey de Langele was dead in 1274.] .
