WESTLEY. Isabella, relict of Robert de Westle, grants to William the prior and brethren of the hospital of St. Peter one rood of land, in exchange for another, in the fields of Westley (Westle). (c. 1270-80.)

Robert de Waunford, merchant, grants to the hospital of St. Peter without the gate of Risseby, in the suburb of St. Edmund, six acres of arable land lying in the fields of Westley (Westle) in that field called 'Le Dune', paying yearly 6d. to the lord of Horningsheath Parva (Little Horniggesherthe). (c. 1260.)

Westley. John de Westle, chaplain, gives to William prior of the hospital of St. Peter one halfpenny of annual rent, which he was accustomed to receive of Isabella, relict of Robert de Westle. (c. 1270-80.)

Convention (indented) made between Robert de Baketon , clerk, then prior of the hospital of St. Peter, and convent of the same, of one part, and Robert de Waunford and Isabella his wife of the other, by which the said Robert and Isabella grant to the said hospital six acres of land in Westley (Westle), in the field called la Dune for which the said prior and convent will give them annually 4s. during their lives. (c. 1260-70.)

Convention, dated 1275, between William, son of Bartholomew of St. Edmund, of one part, and the brethren of the hospital of St. Peter of the other, witnesseth that the said William grants in exchange to the said hospital three roods of land in the fields of Westley (Westle), &c. Witn. Geoffrey fitz-Robert alderman, Luke fitz-John and Will. de Waldpole, bailiffs

Roger de Multon grants to Hugh de Bakinghetch and Peter de Lausele [sc. Lawshall], merchants of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund), for 6 marks one piece of arable land lying in the field of Westley (Westle), reckoned at six acres in the field called le Dune. (c. 1270-80.)
