WALDINGFIELD (Great and Little), &c. Robert le Engleys of Great Waldingfield (Great Waudigfeud) remits and quit-claims to John de Hudebovil all his right, &c.in a tenement in Great Waldingfield (Great Waudigfeud ) and Little Waldingfield (Little Waudigfeud) for which the said John gives him half a mark. (c. 1240-50?.)

Roger le Engleys ("Anglicus") and Lauretta his wife grant to John de Hudebovill' all his right to the patronage of the church of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldiggefeld). For this donation the said John gave ½ mark of silver. (c. 1220-30.)

Lauretta (?), daughter of William, son of ..., grants to John Hudebovill all her right in the church of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldiggefeld). For which grant the said John gave her half a mark of silver. (c. 1220-30.)

Gilebert de Little Waldingefeld grants to Adam de Brantistune, clerk, the whole of a meadow in the village of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld). For this charter of confirmation the said Adam gave 12d. (c. 1260-70.)

Humphrey of the church ("de Ecclesia") grants to Nicholas, son of Roger de Subir', for his homage and service and eight pence, one piece of land lying in Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldingefeld). (c. 1250-60.)

Gilbert Infang of Little Waldingfield (Little Waudinggefd) grants to sir Robert Carbonel the homage and service of Alexander Martin of Great Waldingfield (Great Waudinggefd) and an annual rent of two capons, which he was accustomed to pay, for a piece of land in Little Waldingfield (Little Waudinggefeld). (c. 1250-60.)

Andrew Gunel, merchant, grants to John, son of Geoffrey de Heldrake [or Sheldrake?] of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld) , one acre of land and a messuage in Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld). (c. 1250-60.) [Partly effaced.]

Matilda, daughter of John Herberd of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeud) , grants to John, son of Amicia Althot of the same place, for 14s. in hand paid, a messuage with a house in Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeud). Dated the Sunday next before the feast of St. Barnabas the apostle, 26 Ed. I (8 June 1298).

John, son of Nicholas de Wygeberthe, remits and quit-claims to William, son of Alan de Goldingham, as his chief lord, for forty shillings all right and claim in a tenement which Walter of the marsh ("de marisco") of Westhorpe (Westorpe) held of the said John to his ancestors in the same village, also in two tenements in Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldyngfeld) held respectively by Will. de Feypo and Rich. son of Matthew de Subire and 3s. annual rent from the latter.
