Robert L..., with the assent of Felicia his wife, and on account of their great necessity, grants to Adam, son of Seberen , for his homage and service, one messuage in Hokenorton, viz. that messuage which Adam Spilems... (?) held; also two acres of land in the east field, of which one half acre is against Ludewell, another against 'Hochulldich' near Thomas Winnegod , a third against 'Theroberevers (?) lake' near Thomas Winnegod , a fourth near Wlneswel near Thomas Winnegod 's gore above Stamwelle hull near Thomas Winnegod 's. In another field towards the south another 2 acres (with boundaries named), and half an acre in the meadow of 'Heiweies furlong,' paying annually 2s. For this donation the said Adam paid to Robert 30s. 6d., to Felicia his wife 3s., and to Geoffrey his son 2s., and to William, his son, 3d.(?), Nicholas 10d., and to Adam, and John, his sons, 6d. each. KIDLINGTON and HOOKNORTON. Henry de Oylly grants to the church and canons of St. Mary, Oseney, for the health of his soul and the souls of his predecessors and successors, especially for the soul of Sibil his wife and Matilda his daughter, 100s., of annual rent, for which he has assigned to them 60s., which he was accustomed to receive annually from his mill of Cudelington, and the homage and service of Elyas the miller and his heirs; also he gives to them in his same manor, in frankalmoigne, one virgate of land, namely, that which Ralph Riveling held, with a messuage and croft and with all that appertains to it within and without the village; also he gives to the said canons in his manor of Hokenorton one mark of silver, which Robert Bernard was accustomed to pay annually for three virgates of land in the same village; also he gives to them 8s. sterling, which Roger Olycrance was accustomed annually to pay to him for half a hide of land, which he had with Matilda his wife, daughter of Philip the clerk , and held of the said Henry in the same manor with the homages and services of the said Robert Bernard and Roger Olycrance and their heirs; also he gives to the same canons in his manor of Hokenorton, one meadow which is called Cuham, in frankalmoigne.
