Agreement by which John Fers of D⟨aventry⟩ appoints Agnes daughter of Ralph le Coupere as his heir, to have at his death (i) two messuages in Drayton; one between the tenements of Walter the tailor (sartor) and John Fers , the other between the messuages of Adam le Waller and the said John; (ii) lands to the amount of ½ ... in Drayton above H[...]rdys by the land of Geoffrey de aula , and a rood above Drayton Mawelond, on condition that she shall serve him faithfully to the end of his life, and pay 2/- to the chief lord of the fee. DENFORD. Reginald, son of Reginald de Cain , grants to the prior and convent of St. Frideswide, one place of a meadow which is called 'Repham' near Denford, and extends itself towards the east to the end of a certain meadow of the prior and convent at Edineton . For this charter the prior and convent gave to the said Reginald five marks sterling. (c. 1260-1270.)

An acknowledgment by Gifferd de Vezana, canon of Cambray, nuncio of the Pope, has received of the abbot and convent of Oseney, by the hands of Hugh de Cumpton , £8 sterling from the tenth of Towcester, for the first 3 of the six years in which the tenth was granted as a subsidy for the Holy Land to Pope Boniface when he held the said church as cardinal; according to an account by the bishop of Lincoln of the sum of £584 11s. 11 3/4d, as contained in Ch. 27. Dated 14 Kl. Aug., 1299.

ESTROP, co. Northampton. Ralph Bulge of Purston grants to the church and canons of St. Mary, Oseney, the donation which Matthew de Stratton, archdeacon of Bucks , made to them of lands, rents, and tenements, which he had of his fee in the village and fields of Estrop, paying annually to him and his heirs l0d. for all services; also he grants to them the donation which Walter Lefeye and Isabella his wife made to them of a certain plot, and 39 acres of arable land in the fields of Estrop, at an annual rent of 2s. (c. 1260-70.) .

Matilda, daughter of Ralph Bulge of Purston , grants to William, the abbot, and canons of St. Mary, Oseney, in frankalmoigne, a messuage with a curtilage which she had of the gift of Ralph her father, and confirmed by Ralph Bulge her uncle, in the village of Estrop; paying annually for all service one penny. (c. 1250-60.) .

Ralph Bulge of Purston, jun., grants to William, the abbot, and canons of St. Mary, Oseney, in frankalmoigne, an annual rent of one penny, which was accustomed to be paid to him by sir Jordan, the chaplain, for 2 messuages which he held of him in Estrop; also another rent of 1d., which Hugh de Lyons ("Leonibus") and Matilda his wife were accustomed to pay for a messuage in the same village. (c. 1270-80.)

Indenture of agreement between the Thomas ⟨de Marleberge ⟩, abbot and the convent of Evesham and Nicholas ⟨de ⟨Ely⟩ ⟩, prior and the convent of D⟨aventry⟩ and Hugh de ..., concerning the common and pasture in the whole of the field of Baddeby and in Falevesle. [Mutilated.] [1232-6] .

A parchment book (bound in 1929), folios 1–11d., about 10½″ × 13″. f. 1. ‘Missus Gabriel de coelis’= Chevalier, Repertorium Hymnologicum no. 11636, which see for references to printed editions. This prose or sequence in honour of the Virgin Mary was in common use from the end of the twelfth century. f. 1. d. A rental of the lands assigned to the Chapel of S. Mary, between 1250–1288. Broughton. Gregory Grimbaut grants to D⟨aventry⟩ in free alms 42d. rent from the land which William de fonte once held from him in Brouton, as appears in another charter concerning the same gift. Every year the monks are to distribute 13d. of this to the poor (die absolucionis), and 2/5 is to provide a lamp before the altar of S.
