Staverton. Nicholas, prior of D⟨aventry⟩ , called to warranty by Emma Crok , recognizes by a fine made at Northampton the right of William de Morton in a moiety of half a virgate and a messuage in Staverton held at a rent of 18d. for the prior after an assize of mort d’ancestor had been summoned between them. For this William gave the prior ½ mark. ⟨18 Oct. 1240.⟩

Northampton. Richard Gubynn of Northamptone grants to D⟨aventry⟩ and the chapel of S. Mary, in free alms, that messuage which Cristian the mason once held from him in Northampton, in the cemetery of S. Guy’s. Rent: 27d. and two chickens at Christmas. Witnesses: William Tylley, mayor, Robert son of Richard , Robert of Leycester, junior, Michael son of Philip, junior, John Samson , Richard of Blyyeld the spicer. ⟨c. 1200–1220.⟩
