Staverton. Nicholas, prior of D⟨aventry⟩ , called to warranty by Emma Crok , recognizes by a fine made at Northampton the right of William de Morton in a moiety of half a virgate and a messuage in Staverton held at a rent of 18d. for the prior after an assize of mort d’ancestor had been summoned between them. Sandford The prior of St. Frideswide, Ralph of York and Richard of Feringkis , canons of Salisbury and Chichester, delegates appointed by O. cardinal of S. Adrian and papal legate, cite the prior of D. to appear in the church of St. F. Friday after St. Dunstan to answer to Master Hugh Hamelin and persons learned in the law why he took the rectory of Sandford, of which Sir Ralph of S. Laudo [Lo] is patron. 1267. ⟨11 April⟩

Mary’s, Leicester, the archdeacon of Leicester, and the bishop of Lincoln, Master Hugh Hamelin seeks a postponement to allow him time to consider the process, of which he has obtained a copy. The case is adjourned till the morrow of All Souls, when the parties are to appear again in the same place. 1268. ⟨4 Oct.⟩
