SADDLESCOMBE. Condition of a bond in £200 from sir Thomas de Nerford to master Paunce de Controno , that the said Thomas shall give up with 15 days of Pentecost the beasts, goods and chattels of the manor of Sadelescombe which he held of the prior of the hospital [of St John of Jerusalem], and which the said Paunce had sold to the prior, in accordance with an inventory made between the Prior and Paunce's brother Peregrine .
