Gregory, son of William of Cothewrth , grants to the church of St. Mary Magdalene of Bretton and the monks there, in frankalmoigne, the homage and service of Robert the smith of Wirkesburg for a plot of meadow in Cothewrth, held of him by the said Robert at an annual rent of 6d. (c. 1260-80.)

Writ from K. Henry ⟨IV⟩ , dated at Westminster 13 Jan. 10th of his reign, addressed to William Gascoigne and Thomas Tildeslegh , to hear a cause of novel disseisin between the prior and convent of Monk Bretton of the one part, against Roger de Preston of Hikilton and William Jonson of Cudworth of the other, concerning common of pasture in Hykylton and Cudworth.

Gilbert de Notton grants to the hospital of St John of Jerusalem one bovate of land of the four bovates called Ravenesacre in the village of Notton and two acres in Adbaldehage. (c. 1180-90.)

Alexander, son of William , grants to the hospital of St. John two acres of land in the territory of Chivet. which William the son of Ote his father gave them, in frankalmoigne; and they re-grant them to him and to two after him at a yearly rent of 6d. (c. 1190-1200) .

Gilbert de Chivet grants to the hospital of St. John, in frankalmoigne, three acres of land in the fields of Chivet, and one toft in the same village, called Stoccroft, and 3 acres near the land of Henry the Forester . (c. 1230-40.) .

Walter de Chyvet, son of Gilbert de Fechiston , for himself and his heirs, is bound to the hospital of St John of Jerusalem at Newland, co. York, in 8d. annual rent, from land in Chyvet, of which one toft is called Stokcroft, which Gilleberthis father and Havisia his sister with his counsel and consent and charter (see the next one, MS. Ch. Yorks. 102) gave to the blessed poor of the said hospital, in frankalmoigne. (c. 1240-50.) .

Walter, son of Gilbert de Chivet , confirms to the hospital of St. John, in frankalmoigne, one toft with a croft in the village of Chivet, and land in the territory of Chivet. (c. 1230-40.) .

Robert Passelewe of Ledes grants to sir William de Fynchedene, kt., sir William de Mirfeld, parson of Bradeforth , William de Mirfeld , Richard de Normanton, vicar of Batelay , Hugh de Wombewelle and William de Gldesome , two tofts and two bovates of land in Ruston of which one is called Sekeroxgange and the other Wygfalleoxgange and which he had by the gift of Robert de Erthyngtone. Dated at Ruston the Tuesday next after Palm Sunday, 43 Ed. III.
