Lease from the court of exchequer, dated 5 July, 36 Q. Elizabeth, granting to Richard Manian , James Man and Thomas Man for their lives a messuage and four bovates of land lying in Ormesby, late of the monastery of Giseburn, at an annual rent of 37s.

MORTON. Simon de Skestling grants to Emma his daughter two bovates of land in Morton, viz. the two bovates which Cristiana de Giseburne held; for her clothing and necessaries of life with remainder on her death to the convent of St. Mary of Basdal. (c. 1200-10.) .

ORMSBY. James Strangways appoints James Buyth and John Goldyngtre together and separately his attorneys to take possession of two bovates of land in Ormsby, and lands, &c. in Great and Little Upsall near Ormsby, which he has by the gift of Randulph de Bulmer, knt.
