William de Kirtelington, chaplain, grants to the poor of the hospital of St. Leonard, York, all his lands and tenements which he holds of the said hospital in the village of Kirtelington, together with all the good and chattels therein. Dated at York, 11 April, 26 Ed. I.

HOWGRAVE. John de Londoniis grants to Robert de Coyngners all lands and tenements which he holds by right of dowry of Joan his wife, formerly wife of Robert de Melmorby , in the village of Hougrave, and his wife resigns her right in case of survival by oath sworn upon the Holy Gospels in the church of B. Wilfrid of Rypon. Dated at Rypon the Friday next before the feast of St. Mary Magdalene, 1339. Witness, John de Clotherom, bailiff of the liberty of Rypon , etc.
