CRUCHESTOKE, co. Norfolk. Isabella, daughter of Thomas de Rikinghale, grants to sir John de Valibus (Vaux), son of Oliver de Valibus (Vaux), 16d. of annual rent from a tenement in the fields of Stoke Holy Cross (Cruchestoke), paid to her by John Herbert, villein of the said sir John; rendering yearly one clove. SUFFOLK. Grant from Henry Latimer to Gocelin de ... Pueronum and Richard his brother, for 20s., of the half of his marsh of To... Herk... below Kersh and the water running from Great Yarmouth (Gernemuth) to Beccles (Becks), paying annually four pence. (c. 1240-50)

Indenture made 7 December, 3 Charles II (1662), that Thomas Freston of Mendham, in consideration of the receipt of £7. 3s. 3d., and an after-payment of £500, releases and confirms to Richard Freston of Mendham, esq., the tithes of the parishes of Mendham, Metfield, and Needham (Nedham) appertayning to the late dissolved monastery of Mendham.
