Alvesbourn or Alnesbourn Priory. Robert, the prior, and canons of Alvesbrunne remit and quit-claim to William de Kirkeby, the prior, and convent of the Holy Trinity, Norwich, all action, right, and claim in 20s. annual rent, assigned to the former by Albert de Nevyle and his heirs out of the half of a certain water-mill in Keswick (Kesewyk), formerly called 'le Oldemylne,' but now destroyed and the arrears of which for 28 years they had claimed; for this remission and quit- claim the said prior and convent of Norwich gave 16 marks of silver. Dated at Norwich the Tuesday next after the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, 14 Ed. I (25 Jue 1286).
