IV, that Robert Townesend held of the lord 2½ acres and 1 rood of land, with a cottage formerly John Gybbes ', in North Byrlingham, and died so seised; William his son and heir admitted to the same.

Manor court entry dated the Thursday next after the feast of St. Gregory, 5 Hen. VII, reciting that Katherine Gylberd, widow, surrendered into the hands of the lord to the use of Thomas Gylberd , and Margaret his wife, a cottage and 6 acres of land in North Birlingham.
