Memorandum, papal bull, grant. Slawston (Leicestershire). Sunday next after the octave of Easter, 1257 (1257). . Memorandum to H[enry of Lexington], bp. of Lincoln, from Alexander de Ferenter, canon of St. Paul's, London, reciting a bull of pope Alexander IV, dated Lateran, iij Non. Jan., 3rd year of his pontificate (1257), for the granting to the abbey of Peterborough the appropriation of the rectory of Slawston, worth ten marks yearly, and of the annexation which has now been made on the resignation of Robert, sub-prior of Osolveston, the late rector. Dated at Slawston.

Grant from Helias, parson of the church of Pikehale, grants to the house of St. Mary of Charity of Swanebi, situated in his parish of Pikehale, that it may have a cemetery and chantry, so much as pertains to the brethren of the order there serving God, saving the rights of the mother church. Witnesses: Chief Justice Ran. de Glanville, Godfrey de Luci, Joscelin, archdeacon of Chichester, and Will. Wavas[or], then justices at York.

List of crown tenants in the Honours of Peverell, of Nottingham, Tykehull, and Leicestre, with a mandate addressed to Fulk de Cancellis, to cause them to be summoned to Winchester the Sunday next before Midlent, with horses and arms, for service with the king or with whomsoever he shall send them; with notes of those who did not attend. The Tykehull list is crossed out.
