Letters patent of Edward [III] king of England, lord of Ireland and duke of Aquitaine of a royal grant by writ of privy seal, to John Brocas all lands and tenements with appurtenances that were of William Hode in the vill of Basyngestok, Hampshire, which came to the king's hand through the felony of William and his outlawry.

Indenture made between (1) Barnard Payce late of Bramley, Hampshire, yeoman, and Richard Gates, of Basingstoke, shoemaker, and (2) John Thorner of Beaurepaire, Hampshire, gent., bargain and sale by (1) to (2), 45s annual rent from land in Basingstoke called the Stewes and a messuage called Vinables alias Viables with lands and tenements belonging to it (signed by Richard Gates).
