COPFORD, Essex (?). Convention made the Thursday next before the feast of St. Dunstan, 16 Ed. I, between Bartholomew de Glouc. of Hadleigh (Hadleye), and Nicholas de Labham of the same, by which the said Bartholomew confirms the grant and demise of Roger de Audham of the whole of his arable land at Copford (Corsforde), which Roger had by demise from Osebert his brother, and which Osebert had from the said Bartholomew for a term of six years, for an annual payment to Bartholomew during five years of seven loads of wheat, barley and fine white wheat ("siligo") and other conditions.
