Grant. Ewerby (Lincolnshire). Grant from Sir Robert de Tibethot, kt., to Sir John de Ry, for his homage and service, the whole of his manor of Houstorpe in the village of Ywarby, with all its appurtenances, as freely as Reginald de la Launde formerly held it of Sir Richard de Haya; paying annually one pair of gilt spurs or 6d. at the feast of St. Botulph. For this grant the said John gave to him £309 and the said Robert guaranteed him against all debts and demands due from the said manor up to the day of SS. Simon and Jude, 46 Hen. [III].

Grant. Elswick (Lancashire), Ollerton (Lancashire), Whittle-le-Woods (Lancashire), Wheelton (Lancashire), Withnell (Lancashire), Hoghton (Lancashire), Roddlesworth (Lancashire). Grant from Richard Bussell with the consent of his brothers Albert and Geoffrey, to Richard Fiton and his heirs eight carucates of land, viz. Hedkilsiwic, Clatton, Wythul, Welton, Wythinhull, Hotton, Rodelfisworth with appurtenances, doing the service for the fourth part of one knight's fee, and the service for half a fee of that land which William, son of Alan, holds of Richard Fiton.

Grant. Stonely, priory of Austin canons. Grant from William de Mandevill, earl of Essex, to James de Calceto [of the causeway, Causey], for his homage and service from his lordship of Kynebauton, in exchange for his land of Bolinton and Brokeburn, which he quit-claimed to the said earl, the land called Werkewelle, with other lands, etc., in Stow and Neuton. Added at the foot of this deed are copies of two other documents in French showing how Werkewelle came from James de Calceto into the possession of the prior of Stonlee (both documents are copies made in the 15th century).

Licence in mortmain. Hemsworth (Yorkshire, West Riding). Licence in mortmain granted by K. Ed. III to Simon de Balderston for the foundation of a chantry in the church of Hymelesworth, endowed with a messuage, toft, 51 1/2 acres of land, 4 1/2 acres of meadow, 12 acres of wood, and 23s. annual rent in Hymelesworth, Hyndeley, Kynneslay, Thorp Audelyn, South Elmesale, and Osset. Dated at Redyng (contemporary copy).

Register, Proceedings. Drax, Augustinian priory of St. Nicholas. Three leaves from a register book[?] of the priory of Drax, containing copies of 13 documents of proceedings in the matter of the appropriation of the church of Roxby, Lincoln diocese (mutilated and partially illegible).
