Indenture made 7 December, 3 Charles II (1662), that Thomas Freston of Mendham, in consideration of the receipt of £7. 3s. 3d., and an after-payment of £500, releases and confirms to Richard Freston of Mendham, esq., the tithes of the parishes of Mendham, Metfield, and Needham (Nedham) appertayning to the late dissolved monastery of Mendham.
