John Jernegan and others grant to John Jettour and others an inclosure in the parish of Corton, and the said John Jernegan alone grants to the said John Jettour and others all his lands, rents, &c. in Bradwell, Belton, and Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston). Dated at Bradwell, 20 August, 20 Hen. VIII (1528).

Richard Wylde of Kessingland (Kessyngland), son of Thomas Wylde, senior, confirms to the said Thomas Wylde of Corton, William Wylde, his brother, and others a messuage, curtilage, and garden in Corton. Dated at Corton, . . . January, 21 Hen. VIII.

Indenture dated 4 April, 18 Hen. VIII (1527), by which Agnes, late wife of Robert Stares of Blundeston , and William Wrentham, executors of the will of the said Robert Stares, sell to John Harvy of Oulton, gent. a close of ten acres called Doles Lombys and a piece of copyhold in Flixton St Andrew (Flixton), co. Suff. for £10.

FLIXTON, OULTON, BLUNDESTON, CORTON, and BELTON. Richard Mighell of Lowestoft (Lowstofte), gent. grants to Robert Mighell his son, in consideration of a marriage between him and Joan Godding of Ipswich (Gippewic), daughter of Edward Goodding, the manor of Flixton, lands, tenements, rents, &c., lying and being in the above villages. Indenture dated 6 April 22(?) Queen Elizabeth, by which John Jernegan of Somerleyton demises to John Warde one marsh in the village of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton) for 800 years at an annual rent of 6s. 8d.

William Sydnor of Blundeston and Henry his son grant to Robert Mighells a tenement situated in the village of Flixton St Andrew (Flixton). Dated 3 Oct., 30 Elizabeth (1588).

Indenture dated 1 June, 29 Elizabeth (1587), by which John Kemp of Antingham (Antyngham, Norfolk), leases to William Sydnor of Blundeston the waters and fishing of the manor of Caldecott Hall (Calcott) within the parish of Fritton for ... years, paying annually for the same a certain quantity of eels and roach.

GORLESTON, BRADWELL, and GAPTON. John, son and heir of Robert Gappe of Bradwell , conveys to Thomas Banyard, gent., and three others, six pieces of land lying in the villages of Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston), Bradwell, and Gapton, also a tenement and piece of land in Bradwell. Dated at Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston), 20 April, 20 Hen. VII (1505).

GORLESTON, HOPTON, and GORTON. Indenture dated 20 July, 26 Hen. VIII (1534), by which John Lavyle and Rose his wife, late wife of John Lampet in consideration of marriage to be solemnised between William Lavyle, son and heir of the said John, and Katherine Lampet, daughter of the said John Lambert and the said Rose, enfeoffs them with lands &c. in Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston), Hopton St Margaret (Hopton), and Corton (Gorton), in co. Suffolk.

Reginald Drowrie of Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston), butcher, with the assent of Agnes his wife, sells to Thomas Boyse, sen., of Belton, a tenement &c. lying in Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston). Dated at Gorleston-on-Sea (Gorleston), 1 June, 5 Elizabeth (1563).
