Indenture made 1 July, 23 Hen. VIII (1531), by which Thomas Jermyn, esq., of Rushbrooke (Rushbrok), binds himself in a sum of one hundred marks to sir William Kyngeston, knyght, and dame Mary his wife, to observe the covenants contained in a lease for 66 years of the manor of Somerleyton (Somerleton) for the payment of the yearly rent of £54.

Sir John Jernegan, kt., of Somerleyton, grants to Edmund Jernegan, son of lady Mary Kyngeston two annual sums of £5 and 33s. 4d. charged upon lands in Herringfleet (Heryngflete), Somerleyton (Somerleton), Ashby, and Blundeston (Bloundiston), in pursuance of a covenant with William Kyngston, knt. and his wife Mary formerly wife of Edward Jernegan, the gather of the said John.
