Indenture made 2 Jan., 17 Elizabeth, between John Hussey of Paynes in Cokefeld of one part, and William Stapley of Highsted in Turpneham and John Ward of the Inner Temple of the other part, concerning a writ of disseisin to enable him to sell the manor of Wells in the parishes of Slinfold, Hechingfeld and Warnham.

Recovery dated 12 Feb., 17 Elizabeth, by which William Stapley and John Warde have seisin of the manor of Well in co. Sussex, against John Hussey, gent. , in pursuance of the preceding indenture [Ch. Sussex 253].
