Mendlesham. Indenture made at Mendham abbey (sic), 9 September, 2 Henry VIII (1510), between Thomas Bullok, the prior of the house of our lady of Mendham and the convent, of the one part, and Robert Flouere, "syngilman" of the other part, by which the prior and convent demise a close called Denford to the said Robert. MENDLESHAM. Lease from Edward and John Crane, gents., to Margery Blomfyld of Little Stonham, and Robert her son of twelve acres of land in Mendlesham (Mendylsham), for twenty years, at a yearly rent of 13s. 4d. 20 May, 27 Hen. VIII (1535).

Grant from Robert Crane, son of John Crane late of Little Stonham (Little Stoneham), esq., deceased, to Thomas Parker, rector of the church of Little Stonham (Little Stoneham), Robert Blomffeld, of the same, yeoman, and Thomas Blomffeld of a pasture in Mendlesham (Mendelysham) called Lytylhane. 27 Sept. 10 Hen.
